Kiara Lanier

Kiara Lanier is a singer, actress, and composer from Chicago's South Side. Her television debut started as a star contestant on American Idol, she has since continued on to star in shows including Empire and The Chi. Her music is an ethereal and sensual blend of R&B and Afrobeat and as a talented multi-instrumentalist, she produces and writes all of her own original music. You may have also heard her music on several shows and commercials as she licenses her own catalog with several networks and top brand commercials including Showtime, Stars, and Nike. Kiara is a Foundations committee member of the Grammy Recording Academy where she mentors emerging artists on how they too can get their music sync licensed.

Some of Kiara's highlighted performances include President Obama's Inaugural Events, Chicago Theater, Lollapalooza, The Tonight Show, Rams Half TIme Performance, and Anderson.Paak Live, and in numerous festivals and museums across the US, UK, and Germany.
